On 16 December 2021, ENHANCER organised a meeting for 150 Turkish and Syrian entrepreneurs active in the textile and ready garment, food and innovation sectors to meet with leading brands, representing about 100 companies.
Following the speeches from the leaders of the business world, the Directorate General of Development Agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey introduced the incentive programs for entrepreneurs. Other informative panels included “Introduction to Value Chains during the Pandemic” and “Sustainability and Digitalisation”. The event also included a fair area with booths displaying products of Syrian and Turkish companies.
Overall, many positive steps were taken for new areas of cooperation at the event, targeting to develop opportunities for Turkish and Syrian entrepreneurs to work together, gain business development skills and strengthen their business connections.
Gaziantep B2B Business Networking Meeting 2022
Representatives of private sector companies active in textile and ready garment, shoemaking and the innovative sectors supporting these sectors will attend ENHANCER’s next B2B Business Networking event, on February 9, 2022. At the event, Turkish and Syrian entrepreneurs from Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Hatay and the leading brands of these sectors will come together to develop new collaborations and partnerships.
Background
The ENHANCER Project aims to initiate new commercial links between Turkish and Syrian entrepreneurs, establish supply and export links among large companies and Turkish and Syrian companies with growth capacity, and facilitate access of entrepreneurs to alternative financing opportunities.
In this context, The ENHANCER Project organises B2B meetings in target provinces to bring entrepreneurs together with the leading brands of selected sectors to develop new business cooperation opportunities.
The target groups of B2B Business Networking Meetings consist of entrepreneurs, private sector companies and institutions at the local and national levels.
