Summary
The overall objective of this project is to achieve the EU overall strategic goal of open and secure borders by developing and strengthening Turkey’s institutional capacity for alignment with EU integrated border management policy.
The specific objectives are to:
Raise awareness and increase capacity in civil administration, notably district governors responsible for border management issues on local level, on border management;
Promote an enabling environment for comprehensive IBM among civil administrators through sustainable training approach and methodology.
