Summary
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the migration management capacities of the PMM through targeted interventions enhancing operational capabilities and fostering national and international collaboration in line with the international human rights principles and standards.
The project has the following specific objectives:
- To operationalize the Istanbul Airport Transfer Point in compliance with national and international law.
- To strengthen the central-level capacities of the PMM and relevant law enforcement agencies for the enhancement and use of a robust evidence base in migration management policy making, and for enhancing effective inter-institutional and international collaboration.
