In Ankara on 10-11 November, the NAVRR Project held an operational workshop and senior officials meeting on reintegration and post-arrival assistance delivery for the national stakeholders of Türkiye’s National Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration (NAVRR) Mechanism. Contributions to the workshop were made by ICMPD’s Senior AVRR Expert and Return, Readmission & Reintegration Specialist, together with the Pakistani Red Crescent Society as well as BRAC from Bangladesh and Shaqodoon from Somalia.
In this context, the meeting dedicated to examining Türkiye’s NAVRR Mechanism provided a platform that facilitated various interactions among NAVRR stakeholders; the Presidency of Migration Management (PMM), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, the Turkish Red Crescent, representatives from the Embassies of Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, Delegation in Türkiye and ICMPD.
The activities have been held under ICMPD’s “Supporting the Implementation and further Strengthening of Türkiye’s National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Mechanism” (NAVRR Project), funded by Denmark, The Netherlands and Norway, implemented by ICMPD in cooperation with the Presidency of Migration Management
