On 02 - 03 February 2022, the NAVRR Pillar 1 project organised a consultation workshop on developing a National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Programme (NAVRR) case management system for Turkey.
The stakeholders of Turkey’s NAVRR programme; the Presidency of Migration Management, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish Red Crescent and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) participated to a two-day consultation workshop on developing a case management system for Turkey’s NAVRR Programme.
Experts from European Return & Reintegration Network (ERRIN) presented the participants with a comprehensive overview on Reintegration Assistance Tool (RIAT), its process flow, encryption scheme, case management, dashboard, roles and responsibilities, functionalities and reporting. The expert from the EU Commission also introduced European Migration Network Information Exchange System (EMN IES), - the environment that RIAT is hosted - its functionalities, GDPR compliance and encryption scheme.
The participants discussed the framework and structure of the Turkish NAVRR Case Management System, the roles of the stakeholders, workflow, roadmap and responsibilities.
The activity is held under ICMPD’s supporting the Implementation and further Strengthening of Turkey’s National Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration System (NAVRR Pillar 1) Project, funded by the Netherlands and implemented by ICMPD in cooperation with the Presidency of Migration Management and Turkish Red Crescent.
