4th Annual International Border Management Conference

This year's event will bring together border guard, police and customs agencies, as well as many other actors from the public and private spheres, in an environment where the safe and orderly movement of people and goods across borders is the shared number one priority. The conference will take place in hybrid format, both in person in Kyiv if health and security conditions permit, and broadcast online to our virtual attendees. The ability to combine key actors is especially crucial in the aftermath of the pandemic, where many countries and nations are striving to recover from the recent (and ongoing) shock.

The themes of the conference will address the aftermath of the pandemic; the dual nature of border management as an enabler of development and a safeguard of security; and the crucial flow of information exchange amongst border management actors. Thematic roundtable discussions and audience Q&A will permit an open dialogue between audience and speakers. The event will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation to Ukrainian, Russian and French.
